My team

This is my first time playing fantasy baseball. I just picked based on yahoo's rankings and pick average. After about the 9th round, I turned on autopicking :p.

So, does my team suck or what?

Usually I keep like 2 bench players max and pick up starters and closers so then I can lock up Wins, Ks, and Saves. Then I try to pick up some elite set up guys like Scott Shields to keep the era and whip down

Out of your bench I would keep Werth (eligible for all outfield positions), Davies (1b, 3b) and maybe Loney.

Since it's only 8 teams you should probably just drop the rest and pick up closers and starters (ie. all teams are probably stacked so no point in trying to trade them).

Shouldn't your question be, "Is my team looking good or what?"

Kinda thinking negatively are we. Gotta agree with others here...with only 8 teams, you'll definitely wanna stack your pitching, especially with some better starting pitching. Goodluck dude.

Well, for what it's worth, all your players are rated 90 and above for Starter % except for your RF, so going by that, you have an above average team. You have a lot of guys that have put together good seasons, but none of your guys has proven to be truly consistent over the years. Some may be putting together that resume (ie Morneau, Holliday), but if they had an off year, it wouldn't really surprise me.

Your pitching looks a little suspect, but I don't know what stats have weight, so I can't really say for sure.

Your team does lack "star power," but you've got some guys that can produce.
