Fantasy Baseball question...

Yes, I know it doesn't quite sound like the right time of the year to be discussing fantasy baseball, but I need to make a choice in a keeper league I joined. I recently inherited a team that is not looking too good, and I get to keep 8 players from the previous year. So far, the seven that I am keeping are:

Jeter
Kent
Pierre
Matsui
Pettitte
Zito
Mo Rivera

For the 8th spot, I am trying to decide from the following players:

Colon
Garland
Giambi
Burrell

I'm not too sold on Garland, but I included him in the list anyway. Personally, I see flaws with all of those guys (Burrell: not many runs and a ton of K's; Giambi: how well will he play this year? His OBP is nice though; Colon: he's just getting fatter, and it's hard to tell what you're going to get from him in terms of ERA each year). Thanks for the advice.

Drop Peirre from the list and add Garland and Colon.
You have solid pitching then. You can always pick up an OF with moderate SB's.

I'd let Pierre go and keep Colon and Garland I think, that gives you 4 pretty good sp's on winning teams, and you can concentrate your draft heavily on hitters.

Still looking for suggestions... need to have my 8 players picked by the last out in the WS 😛 I think I'm leaning towards Colon right now...
