Fantasy baseball, keeper league question

Argo

Lifer
Which 3 from the following 4 stars I had last year would you keep:

Soriano
Chaves
Schilling
Mulder

From the stats Mulder seems like the most obvious choice but change to NL and good Stl team could increase his value.

i'm thinking schilling is gonna retire soon. i can't imagine him having more then one more good year. gotta watch out for them naggin injuries too.

soriano, chavez, schilling
soriano is goin to be good down the line (2nd base is way thin)
Chavez plays 3rd base which is also a little thin.
Schilling is too good to let go although he has no keeper value.

edit: how many teams in your league?

How long is this keeper league going for? Soriano is the best fantasy player at its weakest postion, so do not give him up. 3rd base is pretty deep, so depending on available players in your upcoming draft, I would drop either Chavez or a pitcher.

But then I'm an A's fan.

Duh. Really the only choice you have. Key word is Keeper league... and schilling isn't gonna be a keeper for too long because he's gonna be watching from his living room..gett'n old

trade one of the four for david wright if you have a UTIL or CI position he'll be a rockstar sure enough

schilling is retiring... schilling for wright will prove beneficial in the long run.

unless he's gregg jefferies part 2

I'd keep Schilling, Soriano, and Chavez. All 3 of those guys are guarenteed 1-2 round picks. There would still be a chance that you could draft Mulder or someone similar when you draft in the 1st or 2nd round, but if you let those other guys go someone will snatch them up asap.

Also, you gotta figure there are a lot more good SP available then 2B especially where the crop is VERY thin.

Forgot to mention - you can't keep the same guy 2 years in a row, so Schilling's age wouldn't be an issue. I am leaning towards dropping Mulder, with him having a bad season last year there's a chance I'll be able to pick him up in the first round.

I'd drop Mulder. Schilling is still the Ace out of the two pitchers you have. He should be ok for 2 more years.
