I have an idea for Hollywood. Enough with the remakes already.

Do we really need a new version of The Bad News Bears or a big screen version of The Dukes of Hazzard?

Stop making sh1t and maybe people will actually go to the theater again

The sh!tty product slate is mostly to blame.

Though, I did think Batman Begins was every bit as good as the first Batman movie.

DING DING DING We have a winner. When my girlfriend and I go it's usually $8 a ticket for each of us, plus she wants a drink, some candy, and other stuff. It ends up being $25+ when it's all said and done. For that both of us would rather go buy a couple DVDs and be able to watch the movies whenever we want.

Yet when there is something good to see they all go the theatre anyway.

The last three years were very good for the the industry.

What I find most surprising is the way the always blame piracy for a movie's bad results.

Many people I know are just tired of the same stories, with differend actors. or movies simply re-done a few years later.

Also, many people preffer to stay home and wait for the DVD releases, which are out a lot faster now days.
Not only do you enjoy movies in the confort of your own home, but you don't have to deal with idiots talking during the movie, or cell phones.

Another thing about hollywood.
Do they add dvd sales to the movie profits and then compare those #s to earlier years when people simply rented movies instead of purchasing them.
