Fan's Too loud. Suggestions?

I installed a power supply (300W) yesterday and it's too loud compared to the old one I had. Is there any way to make it quieter? Is that what a silencer is for? Or should I just get another power supply that's quieter (if so, which one is quiet)?

1. You can wire the fan to run off 7 volts as opposed to the normal 12 volts. That will make the fan spin slower, and thus cause less noise.

2. You can unplug the PS for 30 min (to let teh capacitors drain), open the PS, remove the old 80mm fan, and replace it with a new quiet fan.

put an a enermax temp control fan, i saw them for 4.95 somewhere...
