Fans on Heatsink

i started to mod my HS with a much bigger fan and started to think which is best for the fan to blow down on the HS or for the fan to suck air away from the Heatsink... i think it would be to blow air on it...

bump......i put the fan blowing air down onto it....but i made it so i cold change it if alot of people say different.

Just look at the temps. If the temps are lower with blowing, let it blow ;)

alphas have it set to suck... most blow. theres a dead space under the motor so it might be better to take the fan off the heatsink and use a duct.

i installed thermalright sk6 with delta 6800rpm on my cpu
first i installed the fan to suck the air away from the heatsink (sticker was on top) the temperatures were cpu 54C and MB 39C
then i saw pictures of the cooler where the fan was installed to blow air on the heatsink (sticker was on bottom), so i did the same
and asus probe shows that CPU 51C and MB 40C
so make your own conclusions
