Hey C&C,
Thinking about replacing my Xigmatek Asguard (Which I love dearly.) with a Fractal R3. The R3 looks nice and sleek and simple, no fancy bells and whistles, and seems to be roomy enough for what I'm throwing in it. (Sig + 6950 when it comes out hopefully.)

I'd like to grab some cheap black cased, white bladed fans, (no LEDs) to throw in my R3. I'd prefer something cheap and quiet. I need 5, 1x 120mm, and 4x 140mm. I'd like to get them without paying as much as the case itself is (Around 100$).

Can I get some recommendations?

Tl;dr: Need 1x120mm, 4x140mm black case white bladed fans, no LEDs, cheap, quiet.

All help is appreciated. 🙂

Edit: Gentle Typhoons might be acceptable provided I can get the right speed ones (The 15s I think?) on the cheap. But they seem to be OOS everywhere. ;-;

I was looking at those. Seem to be what I'm looking for, I just wish the GT 15s were in stock more places, and maybe a bit cheaper. Then again it seems like everyone wants them so they can get away with it.

I'll probably wind up going with them, though in total I'm gonna wind up spending around 50$, which makes me think why not just a 150$ case instead. 😛
 
For the 140mm the Thermalright X-SILENT-140 are great and cheap. Not white bladed tho.

The Silverstone Air Penetrator AP121 comes in a white blade version.

You could just get the 120 and 140 Fractals - they have white blades - if you had to.

Better, quieter cooling with Scythe GT for 120mm and Thermalright for 140mm.

11$+ for a fan isn't what I'd call cheap especially after tax and ship. Currently my best bet are the NZXTs from Amazon as I can get free ship on them. Wish NJ didn't have tax, really kills me on a purchase like this.

Thanks for the recommendations. If anyone can find anything for sub-10$ per, I'm all ears.
 
Yate Loons are the best bang for the buck. Way under $10. (3.95 120mm - 7.49 140mm)

Between the noisy NZXTs and Fluid Bearing X-Silents - the $2 diff is cheap for the quiet and better airflow, IMO.
 
If you live in the US, have you found a good place to buy the R3? ncixus.com has it for ~$100 usually, but they charge $50 to ship it to the US!
 
The actual fractal fans the case comes with are quite nice, and you can order more on NCIX. Also the case comes with a fan controller that makes the fans SILENT.
