ok im overclocking my duron and my coolermaster just wont suffice any more :)
i went over to INFLOW DIRECT and they had a alpha with sunon fan, with the option
of upgrading to a delta or a sanyo fan for extra $$$$.
i dont want to get the delta because it says that it takes up about 4 watts of power, and that most mobos
cant handle that much juice, so ide have to get a 3-4 pin adapter, and i need a 3-pin.
now as for the sanyo, they claim that its ultra quiet.
i have a sunon and im happy with it (80mm fan), so i need to know about the quality of the sanyo fan and if its worth getting.

thx :)

The Sanyo fan is higher quality, but moves less air. It should be noticibly quieter. If you have a fairly loud case already don't bother with the sanyo, but if you are trying to get as quiet as you can then get the sanyo.

Go with the sunon fan! The extra money isn't worth the microscopic difference!

Maverick2002,

FYI, I have the Black Label Delta 38cfm plugged in the 3pin on the ABIT KT7. It's fine so far.

If you like it quiet, avoid that black label fan like the plague.

The 60mm Sunon will probably increase the noise level noticeably.

You probably won't even hear the sanyo denki if the advertised dba is for real, and will probably pay a small penalty in cooling over the Sunon.

I would go with the Sunon fan. It moves much air and it is quiet! The Sanyo fan won't be much better or much quieter. YS Tech fans are way too noisy. The fan blew so hard, it would rattle the case! :D Changing it with a Sunon fan did the trick! I don't even want to think how much noise a Delta fan would make!
