Fans Connected to PSU/MB

Usually most of the motherboards I have, have a fan controlling utility in the Bios, and it works pretty well... How many Case Fans do you think a MB would support? Only 1 or 2-3? I have 7 All together I could definitly link the four exhaust Fans to the PSU, but the 3 Intake would be hardered to attach together, So it might be easier to attach them all to the motherboard and have it control the fans speed, Especially when I could have my Exhaust Fans at one Permanent Under Volted Speed.

most ppl would suggest to not plug a case fan into the motherboard.

why make the moboard draw extra current for something that can be plugged directly into the psu or a baybus?

moboard fan headers can burn out, maybe taking the board with it.
not worth the risk IMO.

only cpu/nb/gpu fans should be plugged into the board.

HTH 🙂

yea... dont put any unnecessary stress on your mobo, just spend a buck or two for an extension cable if you must to make the intake fans reach the psu. leave the poor mobo fan header alone 🙂
