I am building a fanless mini-itx pc with HD-Plex H3 box. I was wondering which mini itx board I should go with. The pc will be for everyday use, limited gaming (angry birds, bejeweled type stuff), moderate to heavy photoshop and adobe premier use. Will also be using it a secondary blu-ray movie player. I plan to use a vertex 3 or equivalent SSD and 8gb memory.

I narrowed it down to INTEL 61 or 67 chipsets... wondering if there are strong opinions one way or the other. I am NOT married to the intel choice, i.e., if there are better choice on the AMD side, I am open to it.

Out of Intel choices, H67 is better because it will have the SATA 6G ports for your Vertex 3 SSD. H61 would limit your performance.

if you are close to a Microcenter(or frys), it might be cheaper to buy it from them.

^could get a PCIe x16 SATA6 card

though an intel 2400/2500(k) is a bit overkill for this application. maybe amd llano?

I'd think an AMD Llano board would be the way to go... but I haven't seen any mini-ITX boards for sale. Hoping to grab one for my HTPC whenever they are released.
