Fanless Cooling for Nvidia GT 240

Need to replace the GPU fan on MSI N240GT-MD1G-D5 and would like to go fanless.

Will this work: ARCTIC COOLING Accelero S1 Rev.2 VGA Cooler?

Other options?

GPU isn't overclocked and the heaviest use if for video editing with Premiere/Mercury Engine (10% of use).

It probably would, but TBH the cheaper S2 would probably work as well. It all depends on the mounting. Perhaps contact Zalman tech support?

I'm not finding an "S2" GPU cooler by Zalman on The Egg or Zalman's site.

Picture on this page, but it is basically the same thing as an S1, but with only 2 heatpipes and lower cost. Looks like they are discontinued.

Still on the hunt for a solution to get this card running quite. I've read other posts about replace the power cord and plugging it into the mobo gpu fan control.

Would this work for the MSI GT 240 and what sort of cable do I need?

Also, you could build a small water reservoir using the current rad as bottom and stick it to the board .. that'd look as ghetto as it can be but it could work.

Why stop at water. I think I've got some extra engine coolant in the garage!

The Arctic Cooling accelero is good and should work. Just make sure your case is big enough for it.

I have an unaltered version cooling a 4830 very well, and a modded version cooling a 5750 in a slim case.
