Fanless 6800 GT?

Spotted this @ Newegg & also according to the title (description) it has hardware monitoring. Sounds like an exclusive feature to mention that along with the title.

Any ideas?

I went to Gigabytes website, and it looks like the fan is actually on the back of the card. Pretty smart if you ask me, that way it can have a sweet cooler and still be single slot. I was set on getting a Sapphire X800 XT for my Shuttle, but this might just change my mind. What do you guys think, will the cooling be that much better? I would also have to remove my Audigy 2 ZS if I got this card, but it just looks so sweet. Here is the link:

Why does one need a single-slot card anyway? Aside from SFF PCs of course. Does anyone here even use all 5 PCI slots on their motherboards? Most come with that many, anyway.

Totally agree with you. I relize some might but not many. I personally have my GT and a NV silencer + a TV tuner card. thats it I don't need anything else as its all onboard.
