Fanboy Stands By His PS3

Meh, just go the playstation official forums. The amount of shear fanboi and Xbox360 bashing is hillarious. I visit regularly for entertainment just to see how biased, illogical and retarded 'people' can get.
 
I cant listen to that kid talk; I got maybe 20sec into it and had to turn it off.

"some people dont like a system...bla bla bla... with no knowledge of what it can do"

Im sure this preteen knows the ins and outs of every system out there and has objectively compaired them.

Well technically this is a software section... and the PS3 is definitely not software. But even still, I think consoles belong here anyway.

Fanboys on both "sides" are idiots, the rabid 360 owners are just as bad.

I own a PS3, but recommend a 360 for people that don't care about blu-ray. I'll be buying a 360 myself once the 65nm processor revision is out later this year (not the Elite).

Facts that PS3 fanboys deny:

Games are currently better on the 360. The PS3 library is getting better, but ports are usually only as good as the 360 version, and missing Live features like achievements. There are only a couple of PS3 exclusives so far.

At $400 and sometimes including a bundled game, the 360 is a much better value if you only care about games.

PS3 unit sales have been weak in North America, and only good in Japan compared to the awful 360 sales. Wii is winning.


Facts the 360 fanboys deny:

Blu-ray is winning over HD-DVD. Blu discs have outsold HD by 2 to 1 this year and the gap widens as PS3 players get into 10x the homes of HD-DVD players and 360 drives. The studios are behind blu, as are almost all manufacturers except Toshiba. Toshiba and HD are looking like the Sony-Betamax of this format, except without any technical superiority. Upscaled standard-def porn won't save them, and the BD association does allow porn anyway.

If you want a high def player and wifi, the PS3 is a good value at $599. The 360 elite with wifi and HD drive lists for $777. Games are still better on the 360 though.
 
I really dont like that kid, he reminds me of this middle eastern know it all i got stuck living with onetime, he always said "let me tell you somthing" in that annoying way that makes you say shut the hell up before he even tells you somthing.

The 360 Elite will list for $479 which includes the 120GB drive and HDMI. For an extra $89 you can buy the wifi adapter. Final total for the 360 Elite and wifi is $568.

Edit: I see, you meant HD-DVD drive. Yeah, it would probably be around the $777 mark then.

this guy is an idiot. his reasons are RETARDED. exclusive games? thats EXACTLY why the developers are making the games for other consoles.

best system money can buy? sure i agree, but what if people dont want that? what if they want GOOD games and excellent multiplayer support? then the 360 is the way to go.

True, but IIRC, I got evicted from the Xbox forums when they made it so only registered users could view messages.
 
I can't believe he said "player hate".

As ****** annoying and up-his-own-ass as he is, I still feel compelled to finish watching. Just because I keep laughing at him every 10 seconds or so.
