Every sperm is great.

God gets quite irate.

Hmmm, how to put this without being too graphic... What if the soldiers don't even get to the battlefield, but rather their transport took a wrong turn and left them stranded on some beach somewhere... (purely by accident of course).

actually for all those wondering, carbon-14 dating is considered to be accurate up to about 10, 000 years, after that it can't be trusted to be correct, however carbon-14 dating is used to date things that are relatively young, there are many more forms of dating, some are accurate up to 100 million years, I'd name them if I hadn't sold back my biology book. Also for reference on thing I hate is how these anti-evolutionists try to debunk fossils found and site certain specific pranks. However they fail to mention the fact that we haven't found 10 or 20 humanoid fossils, but hundreds, and even mass graves of neandertal and cro-magnon man.

Kid: "I-I tried to not look, but, well, I keep seein' them in my head and...."

Parents: "Let's pray"

Prayer. The Solution To Every Problem.

Hmmm, I had a big grin on my face when I listened to "Family Reunion" by Blink 182 earlier today. I think I better read that rock music comic and cleanse my mind!

<<I think that what we're looking at is an honest attempt to promote moral standards in youth today.>>

Whell, I think what they promoting is exactly the kind of thing that drives people
to do something like what has been done on September 11.

I don't understand why people like this trying to save somebody else?
Save your self!

What I like about the evolution one is the fact that they try to tell the professor that science is really horrible, because everything is still theories. Well, first off, how is having 'faith' in a God any different than having faith that science will figure out its own explanation for things - what makes thinking science will figure things out such a horrid thing?! Secondly, of course most things in science are still theories - thats why its science! Thats what scientists do! They look for ways to explain things, and when they have a good idea of what's going on from different thesises, they create their own theory, and until solid evidence is found, it will stay theory. The difference with this and religion being that the religious already know that they are right, while scientists are still asking questions.

Damn, I'm reading that evolution cartoon... Them kids bash carbon dating, and dismiss it as being highly inaccurate, but then use it to "prove" creationism by saying that there's only enough carbon in existence to show the earth being 10000 years old. HUH??? Carbon is formed in aging stars... Carbon is being produced all the time. How do they figure that?

And then with the moths in England... Of course the dark ones always existed. They just described evolution. A random moth had some dark moth babies, which produced some more white moths and some more dark ones. Then when the soot came, the dark ones were camoflagued, and the white ones were eaten. Now there's mostly dark ones. Natural selection.

LMAO...the evolution one was good for a laugh. They prove their ignorance within the first three frames of the comic and from then on it's a comedic grab bag in the Young-Earth tradition.

What's next, a comic strip advocating Geocentricism? Flat Earth?? I can't wait. :)

Oh no, here comes the anti-evolution crowd again. I hope you realize that evolution =! origin of life, but rather origin of speciation.

You want to argue over fossils, or clams? Please.

Most evidence nowadays is at the genetic level.

Seriously, an important note here is that these people think they are doing the right thing. I mean, they aren't getting rich off of this when the pricing structure is 2 copies for $9.95 and 3 copies for $3.00 each.

What incredible stereotyping to sell to youth.

Hmm, just took another look at Tim Todd Ministries Guest Book since I signed it last night. Based on the discussions here, I'm assuming some of the latest vulgar posts originated from readers of this thread.

If so, you've entirely missed the point, twits.

These are people who are reaching out, trying to save you. If you don't like it, why trample all over their site looking like a very worthy candidate for saving?

If you are the type of person to leave these regrettable remarks, you should realize three things:
  1. 1. You are incapable of changing anyone's mind on the subject, and
    2. You are incapable of comedic writing, and
    3. The teachings of many faiths would not be lost on you.
Just treat them respectfully. They've no ill will towards you.

Regards,
Craig

That's really just so sad. i think sites like that do a disservice to followers because only a total freak moron would really agree with all of those.

<< The thing is, who discovered some of the inconsistencies in carbon-14 dating? Scientists... I find it hard to believe that some creationists can support these scientists when it conveniences them, and deem them heretics at other times. >>

Good friggin point.

I just love how full of propoganda these are - its the funniest site I've ever seen! It makes people who don't believe in God out to be violent, misguided gangsters.

Aside from the homosecual one where the gay man is told that 'He will change you', the evolution one is just beautiful, and full of of incorrect information.

Oh, what a great site! :D
>>

The quality of the comins are kind of rough, and the narration is definitely similar to the script for Leave it to Beaver.

But the content is correct. Take a moment to read them before mocking them, try not to get stuck on the awkward vernacular, and see what it really is. Btw, the evolution one is right on the money. You should do some research... try to avoid evolution propoganda websites for clarification though.

The hardest thing about this is that you're going to have a bias for either side, no matter what. There is no in between.

<< HotChic - are saying that since Carbon-14 isn't an exact science that evolution is bunk? I seriously hope you aren't that ignorant. >>

I seriously hope you aren't that ignorant.
rolleye.gif
The fact is that scientists *prove* evolution with these methods. Then when the method is bunk, it no longer credits evolution.

"Look, these apes are evolving."
"Yes they are! Let's teach it to small children!"
"Nevermind, all of our prove is no longer valid."
"Who cares! The children already believe in this, let's just go find more proof."
"Why should we continue to support a theory that has lost it's fundamental evidence?"
"You are so ignorant. Can't you see your blinded by your faith in non-evolution?"

Duh

I'm not sure I'd agree with that, but most teens probably are rebelious enough to dismiss it.

The content ranges from stereotyping to hate literature. Condoning the yelling of, "i love you!" at gays is hate. The rest may be better, but to a varying degree.

What?

Look, you are obviously very defensive of your beliefs, and that's probably a good thing, but try not to engage people in debate. As your above "Eureka!" demonstrates, you have no aptitude for it.

But listen to you, you're quoting a biology book. Of course it's going to support Carbon-14 dating.

If you look at the equation used for solving the Carbon-14 timestamp, it is *implied* within the formula itself that the date is going to be in the Millions of years. Sorry I don't have my sources right now to show you the formula... maybe somebody else can volunteer that.

You're right, we've found hundreds of humanoid fossils. They either prove to be Human or Ape.

LOL, see how hypocritical that argument is?

So the bible-throwers can try to change the heretics minds - making it a lifelong quest - but don't dare the heretics try to change the bible-throwers minds? The bible people get all upset when others get critical about their faith, but they fail to understand that their evangelism breeds retaliatory reactions from non-believers. I find it objectionable to sit there passively and be told that evolution is a farce because some holy book says otherwise, yadda yadda. If some spread around such fairy tales, don't be surprised when others armed with scientific evidence debunk their notions with bravado.

And no, I did not sign the guest book.
