I dont have any spare fans around and my case fans dont reach up to my fan controller, and what is a fan bus or a bay bus? Anyways, what kind of wires can I use to extend my case fans to my fan controller? I'm just thinking about wrapping the wire to the pins on the fan controller and just put some electrical tape over it. Do you think this would work? I'm not even gonna use the plastic part that inserts into the 3 pins, because I dont have any of those laying around. Also, on the fans, which of the 3 wire does what? I'm not sure if the yellow controls or monitors the speed and if i will be needing the yellow when putting it on my fan controller? Thanks in advance.
