fan shroud on radiator

I have a black ice exterme rad w/a nice panaflo 120mm. I've heard a shroud can help with cooling. Cost vs price truth? Where to buy? Thanks

Yes, shrouds help. You want about 2" of space between fan and rad. Cost depends on what you make it out of or buying a prebuilt one. Some people were lucky with finding tupperware bowls that fit their rads and used those for the shroud (fan on bottom of bowl, lip around radiator) Cost $.99 Other choices will be more.
