What should each fan be hooked up to? I'm thinking all case fans to PSU (4 pin), and CPU fan to motherboard (3 pin). But I may be wrong, I'm just guessing. Any tips?
It really doesn?t matter I use the 3 pin board connector so I can control the fan speeds based on the ambient case temp. This way I have complete control over system temps and very low noise levels 95% of the time. Using the 3 pin connector makes for slightly cleaner install, just don?t exceed 7-8 watts per fan header.
