The fans in my antec aria are too weak to cool my system, so I would like to get a replacement PCI blower and 120mm PSU fan. I don't need the fans to be silent, but i don't want a screamer either, so dba around 30 would be good for me. I've been looking at newegg and notcied this slot fan:

Masscool slot fan

and this 120mm fan:

Kingwin 120mm

are the two fans above good or are there better alternatives?

I think the problem with the Aria is not that your exhaust fans aren't strong enough... It's that there is nowhere to draw fresh cool air into your case. On top of that, the PSU has no ventilation grilles on the inside to allow hot case air to be vented by that huge 120mm fan.

Those little louvers on the sides of the case near the bottom don't allow enough fresh air in. What you might want to consider is whip out the good ol' power drill with a 3" hole saw and put in an 80mm intake fan somewhere near the front of the case, and drill another 3" hole on the front of the PSU to allow it to suck hot air out of the case.

Gotta have some fresh air coming in so those exhaust fans can do their jobs properly.

Antec could have done a MUCH better job with the Aria ventilationwise, but they dropped the ball on that one. That's why I've never been a fan of cube cases, and I prefer a horizontal HTPC mATX case that can take a standard PSU instead.

HTH.
