I have a antec sx1040
and a epox 8k7a+

Can I connect my two case fans together then connect it to the psu, or do I have to use two different power cords coming out of the psu(one to each fan)?

Also do i have to connect anything dealing with the case fans to the actual motherboard(if so I can't seem to see it) or will just connecting it to the psu be fine???????

Thanks for any help!!!

It should be fine to connect the fans with the same cable. Fans use almost a neglectible amount of power (my case fans are 1.6 watts and 2 watts, 12 volts). As far as connecting them to the Mobo, it'll work without a connection, but will register as 0 RPM.

i have the sx-830 with all 5 80mm fans installed (as well as a bunch of other stuff) and i have 2 fans daisy chained on one side (as well as the "black label" delta cpu fan), 2 fans daisy chained on the other side, and the fifth is chained with one (or more? i don't remember) drives. by no means do i have the neatest case but you can see here how i have the fans connected together and the wires along the bottom to neaten things up and allow maximum airflow.
