I've been looking at several brands Corsair, Thermaltake etc., I know what I want (I'll list specs below), but it seems there are too many brands and fans to look through. Not really interested in Noctua.

Looking to pickup 3 fans

dBa: 0 - 35 dBa is fine
CFM: 70+
RPM: 1500 - 3000
140mm & 120mm options (the 120mm fans will be used on a rad later on so high static pressure is a plus)

Is there anything specific I should be looking for as well as opposed to what was mentioned here?

How much do you want to spend? $20 fans are usually better than $10 fans.

Corsair maglevs are pretty good, a dual pack of ml120 fans should be about 30$.

Good 120s for a radiator.

Gentle Typhoon $25
Be Quiet! Shadow Wings SW1 $25
Phanteks PH-F120SP $12.50

Gentle Typhoons 2150 RPM for Radiator.....
Then Arctic Cooling F12 or Even Cheapo Rosewell bulk fans for everything else.

The better the static performance, tends to increase the price due to the better requirement from the motor.

Where can I buy the Gentle Typhoons? I saw Nidec sells them directly, but no link / area to buy.

Thats because the ones listed on that catalog are raited for 3000/4250/5400 rpm. :p

Those fans are going to be hard to aquire.
Ive only seen them on sale like twice, and it was a special group buy order for the 5400rpm.

And fortunately, each order came bundled with a pair of industrial hearing protectors.

Even those 3000+ GT fans are for server room duty only. Don't try this at home. ;-)
