Fan on my Abit KT7-RAID

I have an ABIT KT7-RAID Motherboard that is a little over a year old. The little abit fan on top of one of the chips on the motherboard has stopped running.. I am just wondering if it is safe to run my computer without this fan for a while? Also, does anyone know where I could find a replacement, something better perhaps?
 
As long as you are not overclocking it is safe to run without the fan. I have heard that Abit will send out a free replacement, all you have to do is ask.
