the fan attached to NB1 pictures here http://www.abit-usa.com/products/mb/large.php?model=158

has stopped moving all together.
i turned off the machine, unplugged it all, pulled the fan out in the hopes that maybe something was blocking the connection. it still doesnt seem to be working.
so far its not a big deal, i just want to know if anyone has ideas on how to fix it or what type of fan i should get to replace it.
thanks.

It looks like my fan is no longer working as well. Very annoying. Should I 100% no even use my computer until I get the northbridge fan replaced? Because I have a pretty big project that's due in the next 2 days and all the video is on the system. Don't want to destroy the motherboard though.

For a while I thought maybe the fan only came on when the motherboard got hot, but I'm pretty sure that was just wishful thinking.

As I've posted in another thread, my nf7s fan broke, and I left it running like that for a few months 24-7....seems okay...but I eventually replaced it with the Zalman, and I agree with everyone that it is the absolute best..

now, I guess you CAN use your computer with the broken fan, but dont take my word for it, i'm just sharing my experience.
