I know alot of you are gonna say panaflo, but i'm looking for somthing even quieter. How about silenx? There are temp controled though, is that gonna be a problem? Air flow is only 58CFM too low?

The 120mm Panaflo L1A has some very slight bearing noise but it becomes very faint when undervolted. Even in a very quiet system it's hard to notice, if its inside you're case on a heatsink it will be even less noticeable. But if you want the absolute lowest noise 120mm fan there it's the Yate Loon or Nexus rebadge. Regarding Silent-X they are decent fans, rebadged Adda's I believe but the company is complete crap, their specs are out right lies stay clear from them.

I had a feeling that the specs were too good to be true. I guess i'll take a look into Nexus, now i just need to find them in Toronto.

Just so you're aware it's going to be very hard to bring the noise of you're system down to the level of the Panaflo. Make sure the rest of you're components are equally quiet; no stock video heat sinks, no chipset fans, equally quiet case fans, and a very queit PSU.

I'm not saying you shouldn?t get the Yate Loon or Nexus but housing the fan within the case is going to mask most of the nose the fan creates, which isn't much. Unless the rest of your system is very quiet the Nexus/Yate Loon would be a waste of money.

I was planning on an Antec 3000SLKB or a SuperLanboy. I'd replace the 120mm fans with Nexus or Yate Loon and 5v or 7v them. I'm planning on a OCZ Modstream 520 or Seasonic s12. I'm still searching for a good GPU cooling solution and will replace the NB fan on the DFI board.
