I bought a Hercules Geforce2 Mx (Dual-Display), and I think it may be overheating and freezing my system, even though it's not overclocked. I have run RC5 client for weeks, and that didn't crash my system, so I'm thinking that it's gotta be the card since it always happens in the middle of a Q3A game. I tried to screw in an old CPU fan (from my old 486), but the fins are spaced too widely apart. Is there some fan out there that i can stick on? or is there a way I can stick this fan on? I have tried these little clear sticky squares, but it falls off after a few hours (probably due to the low surface area). Any suggestions, comments, or questions are greatly appreciated.

I have the same board and I just got some arctic silver thermal epoxy and found an old green K6-2 heatsink (lapped it flat) and used a new 50mm fan on it. Works just fine. I also took the old heatsink (lapped it also and it was horrible) that was on it and mounted it on the memory chips(only use the epoxy in the middle of the chips or find someway to mask off the pins on the memory chips, the epoxy is very capacitive). I now overclock to 195/195. I can go higher but I get graphic anomolies in games. Matter of fact it stays stable all the way to 210/205, just causes tears and flashing pixels. It would crash before if I overclocked it above 185/185 and the backside of the board got "hot" to the touch, but now it stays nice and cool. I lost a pci slot though.
