Fan For AMD 2400 Socket A?

Currently I have the stock AMD cpu fan attatched...
It's so freaking loud, I can't stand it anymore!

Am I going to see any NOTICIBLE difference in sound if I were to switch to another fan or are all fans loud?

Provided that his mobo is compatible and theres enough space between the socket and the PSU,the Zalman USA CNPS7700-AlCu is a great cooler.

For a nice, quiet, inexpensive cooler that fits most boards, check out the Speeze falconrock or near identical spire whisperock at newegg and others. Copper core, triple tab clip, with better performance and much, much lower noise level than stock.

In a market of overpriced hoopla, they're an honest bargain, well worth the asking price.

Edit- that's for socket 462 boards, not athlon64....

I have a super silent one (under 24dB). With this one you will wonder if you computer is on or off.
AMD3200+S370,472,A SILENCE HSF by Coolermaster, Copper/Aluminum under 24dB (as new) - $16

send me a pm if interested
