Fan Controllers

Are they simply plug the fan in to the fan controller? Or does it involve stripping the wire then connecting?

Depends which one you get.

The more simplistic ones have molex connections for your fans, where as the more case modder and customisable ones have other means of connection.

Molex meaning the 3 (I think 3) pin connector thingy that normally plugs into the motherboard?
