Can someone recommend a fan controller to me that meets these requirements:

1. Silver (Brushed Aluminum) or white.
2. Minimalist style. No LCD, and either no LEDs or an easy way to turn them off.
3. Won't melt down if only a few low powered fans are attached.

The controller can be either 3.5 or 5.25, needs to be able to power 4 low powered fans and doesn't need anything more than a few knobs to control the fan speed.

Thanks in advance!

Can control .4amps per chanel... which is not bad.. its entry level.
should handle low powered fans... wont do 38mm high powered fans.
You should be able to Y one of the ports with 2 low powered fans.

Then there is also this guy:

however he has a LED.
The top may or maynot have an LED.

Its very hard to find a fan controller without front led's because they usually tell you which ports have fans connected.

There's also a sunbeam Rheobus:

Its OOS.. its a beefy controller, but has bright LED's... :\

I wish more controllers had a way to disable the LEDs. Tempted to try removing them, as I don't need a gaudy set of lights to tell me the fans are running.

Thanks for the replies... From searching on google about the Sunbeam, it looks like you could just pull the power connections from the LEDs out of the controller. Is that true? If so, would that be true of pretty much any controller?

That would make looking for one of these much easier. Oh, and it anyone cares, this is for my HTPC in my living room so I want it to look decent and not blind me while I'm watching a movie as well as make the fairly quiet fans silent, but also allow me to turn the fans up higher when I decide to play a game on it.
