Fan Controller question and burn out.

Hi guys,
I got this fan controller. Now after about a year, the right knob stop controlling the fan speed. If I turn it less than full on, which is counterclockwise, the fan turns off completely and the blue light is also off. The only way to keep the fan running is to turn the fan on full. I am using the YSTech 60mm fan, which consumes about 7.2W and very loud at full speed. The questions are:

1) Is there a fan controller out there that can handle this high power consumption for fans?
2) Is there a way to fix the controller? I don't have another $30 to shell out right now.
3) What if any recommendations would you have?

Thanks.

do you have another fan you can try on that channel to make sure it's not the fan?

if you can find a sunbeam rheobus it supports i believe up to 18w per channel and can be had for 20 bucks or less if you look around enough. mine works fine for me altho the LEDs are super bright.

can't go wrong with the sunbeam. I bought mine a year ago for 27 bucks off svc.com and it is the best fan controller i've ever use. and yeah the LEDs are blindingly bright but i don't mind them

i believe it was 20 watt per channels which is way more than enough for just 1 fan.

The one I got has the LCD display with Temp and rpm reporting on screen. I also have a plain 3.5" 4 controls small on the floppy space. So I just need two more fan controls unit with and LCD. I paid about $30 for it. But it seems like I had two unit that had problems with the second control.

Thanks.
