I purchased an aerocool gatewatch (Link) and I'm using the following fans:

1 Logisys 80MM

2 Logisys 120MM

1 Spire 120mm

I have them all plugged in to the fan controller, all of the 120mm fans spin, but it only shows me the RPM for the CPU fan. The 80mm fan doesn't even spin! Please help!

Does the 80mm fan spin if you have just it plugged in? And do all of the fans work if they are plugged directly into a 3-pin fan header or molex connection? I had a few fans that didn't like the controllers, because the controller just couldn't provide enough juice. And I've also had just bad fans (which is why I'm converting everything away from the UV UV LED fans).

the 80mm fan will spin if it is plugged in to the mobo fan header, just not the controller....

also why can't I see the rpms of the logisys fans? I really just ordered the fans so I could get the fan mounted cold cathodes- I really don't want to have to spend even more money on *MORE* fans (like I dont have enough lol)

Do you happen to have a multimeter? Something to measure the voltage of the 12V output of the fan controller? And how many molex power connectors do you have feeding this controller. I'm guess that it isn't pushing enough power to the fans, with the large display, plus the LED lights and all on the fans as well. Are the LED lights coming on on any of the fans? And if so, is the light dimmer than when you plug it into a mobo fan header?

Those darn LCD type controls. Make sure that the setting for that fan is set to max at least initially and is set to on rather than off. Also try swapping fan extensions if the fan is on one (extensions can be bad - use DMM to test). Fans must be 3-wire types (black red yellow coming out of fan hub) to show RPM and all three wires must connect thru to the controller. May need to also check sensor wire from fan to connector. Plug fans to mobo header to be sure speed sensor is working.

I think that it is just the fans, I tested a bunch of different brands and only the logisys ones don't work.

DMM shows 5v when I test the extension that I plug the fans into.
