Fan Controller or Stealth Fans

I have 3 annoyiny fans in my case and need to lower the noise level. I wanted to know if it's best to get a Vantec fan controller from SVC or buy 3 stealth fans. Buying 3 stealth fans woul cost more than getting the rheobus or whatever it's called. Anybody has any views on this?

i'd get the fan speed controller. you can control a whole lota fans with it and quiet any fan pretty much. also gives you options, in the winter, why move so much air? make it practically dead silent slow🙂 i have both stealths and a fan speed controller🙂

Ditto. The controller and some good fans will do as well as the Stealth fans, if not better. Stealths are quiet, but not that quiet.

Get a fan with manually adjustable RPMs, SVC sells the Enermax ones for $9. There are a few other ones, but those are the best.

Why not get some Panaflo fans with a fan controller (Zalman Fan Mate)? That would probably be the best setup for a quiet system. Check out www.silentpcreview.com. They got lots of info on cooling, quieting a pc, and more.

The only problem is that I'm trying to quiet the pc down the cheapest I can. Buying 3 fans would cost more than buying a fan controller.
