Fan Controller or Fan Controller W/ Temp Monitor?

I just got a COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 case and I want to put some sort of fan controller in it. I have a ENERMAX UC-A8FATR4 fan controller/temp monitor but its too flashy for this case. So i've been looking at the COOLER MASTER Aerogate II and the Vantec Black Nexus NXP-201 .

Now I like having a temp monitor but I know that the sensors don't really pick up the correct temps. For example my Enermax temp probes were on the heat sink of my A64 3200+ Vinice and on the back of my x800XL GPU. The CPU probe reading at idle was 30c but Everest was reading 43c, and my GPU probe at idel with the temp probe was reading 38c and Everest was reading 47c. The only 2 temps that were correct with the temp probes were my case and HDD tmeps. I've also heard that the motherboard sensors on Abit boards are anywhere from 5-10c off, but i've also heard they are right on the money so who knows. If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated. Thanks.

IDK, but if you want a Nexus, they do make one for the 3.5" bay just as you linked. SVC.com is blowing out many fan controllers right now.

Well I want one for my 5.25 drive bay and the one for the 3.5 is $10 more. I've been reading reviews on the Vantec and i'll probably pick that one up tomorrow.

The only reson i mentioned the 3.5" model was a 5.5" bay would be left open.
There is no difference in the inards between the two. The LEDs are not over powering on either of these.

The Nexus uses PWM to control voltage drop, efficiant but can cause clicking from the fans.
Very slight but it's there. These units only drop to 7V.

If all you want is fan controll, I would suggest a Sunbeam Xoxoid.com Text . I bought two of these in silver @$7.25 each. This unit uses rheostats that each can take 20watts, go down to 0volts, support several fans on each channel and the only down side is the LEDs are too bright for many. This can be remidied by a deft touch of white nail polish. These units have been around for a very long time. They work. SVC.com may have them cheaper.

Thanks for replies guys. I ended up getting the Vantec Black Nexus NXP-201. I live by www.frozencpu.com and I know a few of the guys and they gave me a pretty good deal on it. I got it in and it looks great with my Cooler Master Centurion 5 case. I've got blue LED lights for the HDD and Power lights on the front and the blue LED's from the Nexus make it look really nice. Thanks again guys.
