Hey,

I have a Tornado 92mm fan and its got to be the loudest fan I have ever heard. It is powered with a standard 4 pim molex power adaper. Do they make a controller that will control the speed that works on a standard 4 pin molex adapter????

i use the vantec nexus fan controller for my 3 tornado fans
it uses a molex connector and i am very happy with it

plus it fits in a floppy bay and has cool blue glowing lights (think it comes in other colors too)

i would recommend getting this if you want complete control of up to 4 fans

i have the 92mm fan on my heatsink and the 2 two 80mm fans in the case along with 2 more standard antec 80mm fans
the vantec fans work atleast as good as standard fans when you turn them down really low and you can't even hear them

also the 7v trick works too but only leaves you at that one speed (could be the speed you like tho)

good luck

If you want it even quieter, swap the yellow and red wires to run it at 5V. Some fans won't start at 5V though.
