Fan Controller and XaserV case

Anybody have any problems with fan controller knobs fitting behind the door? The 2 standard fan knobs were good at first, for 2 fans, but not for 4+.

Aybody have similar setup? Thermaltake, Chieftec (any case with a door).

i have two cases with doors with vantec controllers. mine has two of the large 5" bay controllers, 8 knobs. it fits. i had an extra lying around so figured it would be nice😛 chieftecs

I've heard the Vantec controllers hum, 1) do they 2) if so, how loud are they?

they slightly buzz. if you stick your head up to your pc.. like inches away you might hear it. otherwise..they use less power ... i have two in my system and i don't hear em. and their hooked up to everything from psu fans to cpu fans..cuz i like to minimize noise. uv led fans work best with these since they rapidly switch power on and off to control speed. uv doesnt as flicker prone at low speeds. not that its a big thing. still i like being able to tell how fast a fan is going by its brightness.

The newer vantec controllers don't. My 305's are silent..

even better🙂 i like how they are lit. the sunbeam or whatever is plain ugly. and those types dissapate the extra energy as heat, thats not good.
