Hi all!
I've got IBM's PC Server 325 (model ES0) that i'm building right now.
It's a dual PPro with upto 1Gb ram. It's almost complete except that i'm waiting for memory to arrive and another thing, which I have a problem with.
I've got two Sanyo Denki heatsink/fans with tachometer. They didn't come with any connector cables, what they have is a 3-pin male connection on the side (first two pictures).
IBM's mobo has 2x 4-pin connections for the fans. Well, actually it's only 3-pin connections as you can see in pictures 3, 4, & 5. What I'm trying to find is a pair of cables that I could use to connect the HSF straight to the mobo. I've looked on the iternet for last 4 hours and not found what i'm looking for. Does anybody know where I could find such cable? In the worst case what is the pin out for such connections, so I could perhaps make my own cable?
PS. Yeah I know, I could just use an adapter to connect the fans strait to the PSU, but thats not the point.
PPS. Sorry for the crappy image quality, it was taken with a crappy web camera.
Pictures attached:
Take a look at the connectors!
Thanks in advance!
