Fan Connection Problems

I have a what has turned out to be a "major problem" with my new fan control system.

Firstly my case is the Antec Nine Hundred which has 4 fans (one 20cm!) with normal LP4 connectors.

Rather than having to change fan speeds manually (each fan has a three-way switch) I decided to get an mCubed T-Balancer to do the job for me (this unit is getting good reviews everywhere).

Here's where the problem starts - the power output from the T-Balancer is via Tx3 male connectors and the fans (as I have already said) are LP4 (male).

Searching google I can find adaptors which allow Tx3 fans to be run from an LP4 connector but nothing which is the exact opposite. What I need is an adaptor which is female Tx3 on one end and a female LP4 on the other.

Any help would be appreciated (URLs for example). Please don't tell me I have to get out the soldering iron and knock some up myself, these old eyes aren't what they used to be :(

Thankz

Thanks Rally Master. I think I need a female Molex connector - but an adaptor for male-female molex is easier to find than what I'm looking for. I'm in the UK so the next hurdle is to see if this can be delivered.

Thanks for your help and lightning fast reply.

If anyone knows where to source these in the UK I'd appreciate the nod.

The $3.50 price is ridiculous unless you really need a sleeved unit - here: http://www.svc.com/4to3ad.html 99 cents! If it was me, I'd cut the 4-pin off and put on standard fan connectors or just cut and splice to a fan connector from a cheap extension. I'd never pay 3.50 for one unless the sheathing was solid gold foil... You can also get wire taps for small gauge wires that you don't even have to cut to hook some wires together.

Thanks Zepper

However...

Here in the UK we're used to paying through the nose for gear (PC and camera - but that's another story!!).

Although the item you linked to is well priced, unfortunately shipping appears to be to mainland USA only - no good to me across the pond.

As for cobbling one together myself, or splicing - I've just spent over $2,000 on high-end parts building a machine that I will be using full time for my work. I took great care with the "aesthetics" of the build (cable routing, etc) as the side of the case is transparent.

The fan controller cost me over $100 dollars - I ain't going to lose any sleep over what is peanuts compared with the rest of the build...

But I really appreciate your input - thanks for taking the time in trying to save me a few buck$ - much appreciated.
