Fan and Heatsink to go w/ AMD64 3200+

Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a amd64 3200+ OEM cpu. So i need suggestion so i know what fan and heatsink to buy. I might OC the chip a bit, but not to an extreme level. Any comment would help. thanks

The Thermaltake Silent Boost has been recommended by quite a few people also.

I went from the SilentBoost to the Zalman CNPS-7000A. SilentBoost is good value, but the Zalman is a better cooler and more expensive.

I'm expecting my Alpha Pal8150 any day now. It's probably the second best performing heatsink after the Thermalright. I think the Zalman is good, and quiet if you don't overclock, and have really good airflow in your case, but doesn't perform quite as well as the two above mentioned solutions.

on a side note, if you're just looking for basic cooling that is cheap, try to get your hands on a stock cooler, or a Thermaltake Venus 7+ or 8+ (not the silent boost). I bought the Venus 7+ thinking that it will perform better than the stock cooler, since it's all copper, but it turned out to yield about the same temps...maybe a degree or two cooler. If you're interested in buying one cheap...let me know. I'll probably sell ya mine for like $15 shipped after my alpha gets here.

Yeah, from what people have said, the retail AMD cooler is no slouch either. In fact, from what I've read, 1) extreme cooling is not really a pressing need for the A64's, and 2) some people with the retail AMD cooler are getting lower temps than I am with my Alpha PAL8150 equipped with a fairly-quiet Vantec Stealth 80mm fan. Why not pick up the retail-boxed CPU? Plus you get an A64 sticker!
