I was thinking about how people enjoy torturing others (rough day 🙁 ) and thought of an experiment I heard about where people were asked to shock some people they didnt know. What was not told to them was that the people being shocked were actors and were pretending to get hurt while they were deciding how much pain to inflict on their "victims". Anyone have any idea what it was called?

Also, if you have any other interesting proofs/ experiments that show how sadistic humans can be, that would be awesome. I am also looking for one paper which showed how one had to be a psychopath or a sociopath or a combination of both to become aleader.
