Famous cat quotes...

Two slugs slithered on a yellow wood
and sorry I could not trample both,
Being one trampler. Long I stood
and looked them down as fierce I could
to where they sat in the undergrowth.

I will be telling this with a sigh
somewhere sitting upon a fence:
To slugs slithered on a yellow wood
and I -- I ate the slug less trampled by
and that has made all the difference.

"Don't mess with your cat when you're stoned. He'll give you a look like "Give it your best shot, man, I've been doing catnip since the day I was born!""

but seriously, do you think it would be to cheezy to use the original to open a college app essay?

If you have really good writing skills, you could pull it off. Think, "I'm a fun-loving guy who likes to play around, read up on obscure stuff, and donate ludicrous amounts of money to my alma mater when I graduate."

However, you're probably better off with a different opener.

Yeah, if you could tie that quote into your topic somehow. But just using it to be different or offbeat without any relevance to your essay might be something you want to stay away from.

yeah, actually, I think it might be a really neat opening.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence
Two roads diverged in a wood
And I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference

Then it will go into the way I've been educated - homeschool.

Me fale english! That unposibel?
