Does anyone know the deal with family guy? I've seen "marathons" on FOX with old episodes, but I'm curious to know are they launching new ones anytime soon?

20+ totally new episodes coming up summer-fall of 2005.

In the meanwhile, they're playing old ones in 2 hour marathons every wednesday to raise awareness for the already super popular show.

Seth said in a recent interview that new episodes of FG might start airing in January. The first couple of episodes are re-written scripts they made before the cancellation. He said originally they weren't sure if they would be able to use those which resulted in a summer target date. But, all is going well and it should be back early next year.

Sad, but I'm already getting tired of the old episodes. Makes me regret buying the DVDs....I've seen them too many times. 😛

I still think the best episode is the one that they all had to enter the witness protection program and go to the deep south. Nothing like seeing a racoon jumping out of Lois's shirt. 😀
