I haven't seen anything lately...

Whatever happened to the other show that MacFarlane produced????

I think it was called American Dad...

I remember the commercial for it but don't remember ever seeing it...

I remember seeing that it was supposed to start in december of last year. I also read that the new family guy will be in spring of this year. Since American Dad hasn't started, I'm not holding my breath for the family guy starting at the specified time.

On Cartoon Network the other day, during one of their weird promos during Adult Swim they listed "new shows for 2005", and listed American Dad in February, and Family Guy in August.

So if Fox is showing them first, they're going to Cartoon Network pretty much immediately following that.

I think that actually would be a brilliant move. Family Guy is already hugely popular thanks to cable and dvd. So there's no need to build its popularity with early reruns. However, American Dad is new and I imagine it can only be good to have it shown earlier in reruns on the toon network.

American Dad as mentioned above is correct. Family Guy is returning, but not until the fall.

Family Guy is premiering later this year from what I hear. American Dad looks like it will probably be stupid. Looking forward to some more Family Guy though... I've seen them all about a TRILLION times.
