Family Guy DVD Disc Problems?

I just picked up Family Guy Volume 1 at BB. The video seems to be a little jumpy (for lack of a better word) in some spots on the discs. Has anyone else had this problem or noticed? I'm not sure if I just got bad copies or what!? I tried it first in my computer DVD-ROM (Liteon) and then on my home theater player (Denon) and it happens on both players. Just curious if anyone else had this issue.

:frown:

Its not an disc error, its a transfer error. All copies will be like that.

It thats the case you would think they would make sure the transfer was good before shipping the product.

picked mine up today. Did not get a chance to watch it though. I have way too much homework:( Hopefully my dvd does not thave that problem. If it does that then screw Fox, i want a refund. The thing cost $35 on sale, which is not cheap.

That explains it. Thanks, neomits. I'm not super bothered by it...just curious. This show is <Peter> freakin great! </Peter> hehe I'm just happy to have them such high quality versions after all this time. Volume 2 is much anticipated as well. :)

Wow, the disc "skips" during episode one, and sometimes does during episode two. I don't think it's suppose to skip like that. I don't even remember it skipping like that when the episodes first aired. Doesn't seem like it's just an animation problem. Hopefully they fix it.

**EDIT**
I should clarify that when I say "skip" I mean that there seems to be a problem with the animation, like there are double images with one running just a split second after the other. Don't know how else to explain it.

I went looking for this set today and it was completely sold out in the first FOUR stores I hit. I hope Fox is smacking themselves in the face for cancelling such a popular show. F'in idiots...

I can't really point out the exact spots, but it does it sporratically throughout the espisode. I haven't watched all the episodes yet, but I hope it doesn't do this throughout the whole set.

Wow, was just watching ep 1 and it is pretty bad. This was the second episode Im watching (watched
"Brian: Portrait of a Dog" earlier and it was fine) but the first ep is totally unacceptable. :disgust:
