Family Guy and American Dad

i wonder if this will be a toned down version of family guy. I just hope this will not be something like Family Guy, 2nd ed.
 
Why can't these guys sign a contract w/ comedy channel? I wanna see a M version of family and this new american dad.
 
the internet pilot/episode thingie was pretty funny.
maybe they will try and make a niche for it.
i mean, futurama was busted up a whole lot for being a crappy simpsons clone, but they cashed in on the sci-fi/geek crowd and became a cult hit (cancelled, of course) but success nonetheless.
perhaps american dad will go into a political humor genre.
oh well, ill give it time.

...not that funny, but it's nice to know there'll be a Simpsons-esque changing message.
