Fallout MMO Concept Art!

I hope they do set it based on a real place too. The thing I really like about FO3 was that geographically, it was correct. I was able to walk to where my childhood home and schools would have been and it was pretty cool.

As it was for me. Then again, Fallout 3 was a lot worse, so I can't complain that much. But AFAIK...yes, it is doing alright.

Am I the only one who doesnt give a crap about MMOs? The prospect of paying a subscription to play my games doesnt do it for me either.

This only matters for the tiny proportion of players who are familiar with whichever real world setting they use.

What form does Interplay exist in now?

The Interplay(Black Isle dev house) guys formed Troika games and Obsidian entertainment. Troika folded an so some went on to join the others already at Obsidian.

Interplay came back after selling the Fallout franchise rights to Bethesda, but the true successors are IMO Obsidian. NWN2/MOTB prove that they've got the storytelling RPG down well.

Is Fallen Earth still doing well? It was too inaccessible, dry and boring for me to continue playing past Beta.

Fallen Earth is doing very well for the size of its company, Icarus. An extremely good game, challenging too. Travel takes a while and the areas are large.

I am leaving for financial reasons this month otherwise I would have stayed longer.

Glad you didn't moan about the graphics because I cannot see how anyone can, it looks almost as good as Fallout 3 in my personal opinion.

Agreed. I live in Silver Spring, and I loved Fallout 3. The first time I found a metro station in that game I was just blown away.
