It's the year 2161, 84 years after a two-hour-long war that destroyed most of civilization. Mankind soldiers on, living out a hardscrabble life on the surface or holing up in great Vaults built inside caves. You're a member of Vault 13 somewhere in Southern California, and the Vault Overseer's got a job for you: find a replacement water purification chip within 150 days, or your home is doomed.

Best chess game ever....

I don't know, Lego Chess was pretty sweet. But I have a love for all things Lego. Battle Chess was definitely greatness I would love to see an updated version.

I have actually been considering this. I have the animation/modeling background to do the characters and graphics, and a friend who could easily handle the programming, there is also a open source chess engine we could use.

I would not copy the animations they have used or the exact character layout, just using it for an idea.

My concern is if we did it, would the copyright holders for battle chess come along with the 'cease and desist' orders.

Why isn't Gametap Vista 64 compatible yet? What are they waiting for?

Well?

Vista64 at the consumer level does not have enough market share to justify development cost?
