i have destroyed megaton and i have done the quest in the warrington metro, where do i go to get other quests? i feel like Robert Neville due to the apparent absence of civilization beyond tennpenny.
help would help

So you never advanced the main quest to go to the radio station before you destroyed megaton?

I explored a building (load new area when you enter), a kid popped up right in front of me when I exited it and asked for help (quest).

You can also try to find the Enclave or Brother Hood of steel (i hear BH is based in the Pentagon from the radio) and go from there.

i cant get to the enclave, and the brotherhood has neutral feelings about me and no i didnt do anything with a radio tower

So what does your main quest log say?

The next destination in the main quest is across the river and through a subway tunnel to the Galaxy News radio station HQ guarded by the Brotherhood. It's north of the National Mall. It'll be very hard to find without quest markers though. I blew up Megaton after I made sure I talked to everyone and looted everything. You have any older saves?

So did anyone make it into and past Vault 87 in the main quest: Finding something something Eden?

After I get the GECK from Fawkes, it tells me to escape Vault 87. I make it out, through the Pass and Lamplight back into the Wasteland and it STILL tells me I have to escape.
I look at my quest markers and 2 of them are at The Enclave which is messed up; I go back into the Vault and the markers are messed up there too, one points to the Lab (which I go to) then it points back at the door I just came through which is the Living Quarters.
I'm missing two keys, one to the Great Hall and another (which is at the 3 way stop before the GECK room) that leads to a Vault door.

Any help guys?

my next quest is to "continue the search for my father"

I just started over after killing Burke and losing out on any Tenpenny quests.

Turns out you can talk him out of wanting to blow up Megaton, so when I make it to Tenpenny with my new char, it should be interesting.

When I played that quest, after I got the GECK kit, I got ambushed by Enclave while getting out of Vault 87 (still in the vault). The sequence was scripted, so you may have broken the event trigger or something.
