This method seems to work for me, running 980ti's. With the other method that's been floating around, I would get good scaling in some parts, and performance that was worse than single GPU in others. This way seems to get me proper scaling in every scenario, and I've yet to come across any bugs from it.
 
Setting AFR2 in the nvidia control panel was crashing the game for me. The max payne method in the video hasn't crashed for me yet. I wonder if it would be even better by setting the SLI profile to skyrim.
