Just got the Pitt and Operation Anchorage off of windows live. according to the site its as simple as walking around the wasteland and waiting for the radio beacons to pop up.

BS. after looking at the data files area on startup the only option i have is fallout3.esm. I believe there should be 2 other files for each add-on right? if so where did they get downloaded to and how to I run them?

I've even run a search on my computer looking for other.esm files and also ALL files created today with no luck, WTF?

any help would be appreciated.

*EDIT*
found the files here C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Local\Microsoft\XLive\DLC

and followed this link. http://extralives.wordpress.co...e-wont-run-on-your-pc/

what a clusterfuck.

*EDIT 2*
No luck.

Yeah, this is extremely frustrating as I spent the better part of last weekend trying to figure it all out. So, here is what I did, and worked great. First, you want to MOVE (not copy) the files to your fallout 3 folder as described below.

http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsfor...x.php?showtopic=973067

Second, and this will repeat some of the first step, follow these directions (works for both DLCs).

http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsfor...3872813&#entry13872813

Third, get rid of GFWL or Use the Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM0.9.13) to install the tweak, disable GFWL, and install the fake .dll. you will need the XBox.dll for it to run, and the FOMM has it.

Then, once completed, you can check the boxes for the data content, both Anchorage and Pitt should now be listed and checked, and they will begin.

The downfall is that you do not get your rankings and points up for it to be registered online, but who cares. You can't do that anyway if the game doesn't work.

I eventually got it working. turns out I had to log into the live account and get some sort of update for fallout. not sure why it wasn't offered as an exe like the first update. but even so I still had to copy the files. now i remember why i waited so long to get these.

Thanks for the info though, I'm sure it will help out others. when i did a Google search i go nothing but torrent results. and companies can't figure out why people would rather steal their product.
