Fallout 3: How do I get to the Museum of Natural History?

I just can't find a way in. I've been running around the area for quite some time... Can anyone give me any pointers?

What area have you been running around? If you're in The Mall area, the Museum of History is pretty easy to find. Are you in that area? If not, what area of DC metro are you in?

Use the subway maps to find your way around via the metro. The stop you are looking for is aptly named "Museum."

travel the subway system until you get to "the mall." from there it's easy.

Yeah, subways will get you to many places so USE THEM!

No one understood his question. He knows WHERE the museum is, he just doesn't know how to enter it. Don't worry OP, I had the same problem. If you are on the pipes, it is to the right - you will go down inside the gate area and see a door. Your compass should lead you directly to it.

Well, in the defense of other ppl, his title did say "get TO the MoNH", while his op says "get IN".
