Fallout 3 GOTY question

I have pretty much finished it. I am just missing one site and I could not find any way to get to it. it is called Commonwealth Observation camp.
It is to the North of the Takoma Industrial. I have been looking at maps and I see no such location but it is showing up on my map and it is driving me crazy.

Do you have any mods installed?

I think that shouldnt be thjere... Imean I google "Fallout 3 Commonwealth Observation Camp" and the only thing that come up as results are this http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/The_Commonwealth and some kid trying to find where the commonwealth is. I mean I think if it was an actual location in the game it would have its own Wiki page on the Fallout 3 wikia because they have literally every location on there with its own page giving walkthrough's, maps etc...

Wish I had Fallout 3 installed but I dont at the moment or I would check if that shows up on my pipboy

I vaguely recall that there was a quest in rivet city? the old ship, that had bits for the commonwealth but I think, that you do go to there i think.... possibly..... not sure... but fuzzy

No, the quest for the commonwealth scientist (finding his android) did not take you to a commonwealth camp.
 
Know this answer is late, but hey... just ran into that oddity myself after buying the game on the last steam sale 🙂 and running around mapping DC wasteland. I have gotten there, but only through the use of console commands. Might go continue to look for a way in when I get bored or something.


1. Go to Takoma Industrial (sp?), turn collisions off in console (tcl) and then put a marker on world map at the Commonwealth Observation Camp. Then just run toward it on the local map. Does not take long. Btw, a group of feral ghouls are in the area also. They immediately attacked even though I was still inside a wall and killed me. Learn me to go wandering not in god mode.


2. After I got there, I found 2 notable corpses laying there in the screaming yellow radiation suits. Jason (000c9ae3) and Isabella Proud (000c9ae4) which player.moveto works with. With those codes its from the Fallout base game, not an addon because fook2 for me is 08 and 09 prefixes.


Hope someone else does not waste the amount of time I did trying to get there.
