I agree with the mods locking down the threads that encourage or discuss personal breaking of the law.

In Canada you can be fined for encouraging the breaking of the law or for encouraging people to NOT comply with the law. I'm sure its the same in all countries.

Use your heads guys, we have a lot of impressionable young minds (trolls as some people have put it) reading this forum and they may get the wrong idea as to what is law and not law. Peer pressure is bad enough in real life.

My name is Fallen and I'm taking a DAMN STAND!
(darn courtTV and their public awareness commercials!)

I'm no expert, but AFAIK, in the US, so long as you don't specifically tell someone to go "murder this person" or cause other bodily harm, you can say whatever you want about breaking the laws.

isn't it called Accessory if you're aware someone's breaking the law?

Again, I'm not an expert, but I think you're only an accessory if you actually aid them in breaking the law. IE, harboring a fugitive. If I know my next door neighbor sells dope, and he gets busted, I'm not at fault.

/me points at fallenoncrack. Someone go kill this guy. ;) (I hope smileys hold up as evidence in court)

IMHO, if you commit a crime because someone else told you to, the guilty should be given a double sentence - for being stupid enough to listen to the suggestion. And the person who suggested commiting the crime, assuming he didn't actually commit it, should be commended for leading to the conviction of a known moron :)

Thank god we dont live in canada!

And they dont just lock down anyone who incourages breaking the law they lock down anyone who discusses it. Anyone who admits to doing it at one time. Thats just silly every thing that is illeagle now was leagle once discussion is the process Our country was founded on.
